Cependant, les employ\u00e9s ayant deux ans de service ont droit \u00e0 une r\u00e9int\u00e9gration \u00e0 leur emploi si l\u2019employeur n\u2019a pas une cause valable pour le cong\u00e9diement.<\/p>\n<p>Les employ\u00e9s qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 cong\u00e9di\u00e9s doivent recevoir un pr\u00e9avis raisonnable avant d\u2019\u00eatre cong\u00e9di\u00e9, ou une indemnit\u00e9 tenant lieu de pr\u00e9avis (primes de d\u00e9part). La <em>Loi sur les normes du travail<\/em> \u00e9tablit les d\u00e9lais minimaux d\u2019avis pr\u00e9alable. Par exemple, un employ\u00e9 ayant 10 ans de services continus a droit \u00e0 8 semaines de pr\u00e9avis.<\/p>\n<p>Toutefois, ces indemnit\u00e9s sont le strict minimum et les indemnit\u00e9s pr\u00e9vues par le <em>Code civil du Qu\u00e9bec<\/em>, et la jurisprudence le cas \u00e9ch\u00e9ant, sont plus g\u00e9n\u00e9reuses. En vertu de l&rsquo;article 2091 du <em>Code civil du Qu\u00e9bec<\/em>, le pr\u00e9avis de r\u00e9siliation doit \u00eatre raisonnable.
